Dear Believers and Friends,

You are cordially invited to attend the

Tenchi Kane No Kami Grand Ceremony

天 地 金 乃 神 大 祭

Sunday, May 30, 2010, 11:00 am

We hope this invitation letter finds you and your family in the best of health and excellent spirits.

The last year was an especially epoch-making year for us. My family & I have been in Chicago for twelve years dedicating ourselves to a missionary work focused on the teaching that says, ‘Opening this Way of Faith depends upon Wagakokoro; hearts grateful and caring full of harmony and joy, or our own peaceful and joyful heart.’

The Konko Church celebrated the 150th Anniversary of its establishment around the world in 2009. As our contribution to this great event, through Kami’s Divine will, our Propagation Hall became the Konko Church of Chicago. Thanks to your prayers and support, we held a memorable Dedication Ceremony of the new church on Nov. 1, 2009. Whenever I think of it, feelings of awe, gratitude and joy well up in my heart.

I am now thrilled by the fact that this year, 2010, has been and will be more remarkable than ever before for the Konko Church of Chicago. For that we should more clearly understand Kami’s wish for having sent us our Founder.

Having studied and pursued our founder’s faith for years, I believe Kami led him, step by step, to the revelation of the Divine Reminder, Tenchi Kakitsuke, the ultimate message of the Konko Religion. The Divine Reminder most clearly declares Kami’s will for this world. Let us deepen peace and joy in our hearts, awake or asleep, to reveal Kami’s workings each and every moment. We look forward to welcoming you to the celebration.  Thank you.

With a grateful heart,

Masanori Takeuchi
